Ingredients
- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- a piece of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat some butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir. Then add the bacon and cook until half crispy, about 3 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes until they’re tender and lightly browned.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir until it’s heated through, about 2 minutes
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to thin it out.
