Total prep time: 15 mins

Total cook time: 12-15 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 4 slices of bacon, diced
  • 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • a piece of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions

    1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
    2. In a large skillet, heat some butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir. Then add the bacon and cook until half crispy, about 3 minutes.
    3. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes until they’re tender and lightly browned.
    4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir until it’s heated through, about 2 minutes
    5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to thin it out.
    6. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Enjoy!
